水泥路沿石的作用及技術參數
高速公路、市政道路等建設均離不開路沿石，俗稱路緣石、路牙石、道牙石等等，根據道路線路鋪設的基本要求，實際路沿石材質可以分為水泥路沿石及石材路沿石。

1.水泥路側石，鋪設于綠化帶及路側邊（路面邊緣或標定路面界限的預制混凝土的界石），用于合理規范公路建設及擋渣、擋土作用，一般在其邊上均有鋪設排水溝用于下水，防止路面積水。

2.水泥路平石，頂面與路面平起的混凝土路沿石，有標定路面范圍、整齊路容、保護路面邊緣的作用。一般與水泥路側石組合施工，鋪設角度與水泥路側石呈直角，在設有排水溝工程項目上，也會把路平石同等于溝蓋板使用。

以上幾種水泥路沿石都可以采用路沿石磨平拋光條紋機等專用機械加以二次加工達到仿石效果，在帶來便利的同時更增加外形美觀功效。
