開挖邊坡形成以后，通過種植植物，利用植物與巖、土體的相互作用(根系錨固作用)對邊坡表層進行防護、加固，使之既能滿足對邊坡表層穩定的要求，又能恢復被破壞的自然生態環境的護坡方式，是一種有效的護坡、固坡手段。

（1）生態護坡磚鋪設之前，先對該工作面四周混凝土條帶與面層反濾料間預留尺寸進行檢測復核，確保在生態護坡磚鋪設后與條帶頂部為一平面；

（2）搬運時，應先從堤坡頂部條帶處，在濾料往下鋪設1-2道木板滑道，寬度不小于1.0m，然后依次將生態護坡磚順木板滑道運至鋪設面，即保證了濾料層面不被破壞，又減少了水工磚的損耗。

（4）邊縫處理：每個護坡磚工作面鋪設完成后，與條帶間不可避免存在不同程度的縫隙（尤其是彎段坡面），若邊縫尺寸大于等于1/2磚時，則先用水工磚補修，再以1:1水泥砂漿填充收面；若邊縫尺寸小于1/2磚時，則直接以1:1水泥砂漿填充收面即可。

If the size of the edge joint is greater than or equal to 1/2 of the brick, first repair it with hydraulic bricks, and then fill the surface with 1:1 cement mortar; If the size of the edge joint is less than 1/2 of the brick, simply fill the surface with 1:1 cement mortar.
